EMPRESA ALGODONERA S.A. belongs to the solid and strong Peruvian business group AMSA. In addition, this group also has two different companies: Filamentos Industriales S.A. and Industrial Cromotex S.A., leaders in their field at the national level for more than 35 years.

EALSA started its activities in June 1992 for exclusive production of combed and carded cotton yarn, making use of 100% Tangüis cotton, Peruvian fiber well-known throughout the world for its physical and chemical properties, giving more advantages against other similar fibers due to its smooth feel, abrasion resistance and high dyeing affinity (absorbing between 15 and 20% less dyestuffs), thus, obtaining a better yield in the bleaching and dyeing process.
